In the context of China's high-quality economic development and unwavering commitment to expanding its open development strategy, industrial chain cooperation between China and international markets has become crucial. On November 1, 2023, the China-Europe International Supply Chain Technology Innovation Center International Procurement Shanghai Summit (hereinafter referred to as "the Summit") was held at the Shanghai Exhibition Center. The Summit was hosted by Shanghai RealschemeBusiness Management Consulting and guided by the Shanghai Commercial Association, with support from industry associations such as the Shanghai Printing Industry Association, Guangdong Province Printing and Replication Industry Association, European Gutenberg Association, and the Polish Printing Association. International institutions, including the Consulate General of Portugal in Shanghai, Consulate General of Portugal in Guangzhou, and the Polish Investment and Trade Office in Shanghai, sent representatives to attend. The event was attended by over 180 guests, with more than 50 international delegates from Poland, Germany, Turkey, and other countries. Domestic leaders in the printing and packaging industry, as well as innovative enterprises, participated actively, including representatives from SANY Group, Guangzhou Renyin, Shenzhen Runtianzhi, Shaanxi Beiren, Beijing Zhiyi, Haoda Smart, Yueyang Paper, Huaguang Group, and Zijiang Group, who delivered keynote speeches on industry innovation and international cooperation.
During the summit, the European Gutenberg Association signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Germany's Exceed Techlink regarding international supply chain distribution and service systems. Mr. Jacek Kusmieryczyk, President of the European Gutenberg Association, participated in the 2023 Printing Innovation Development Forum, guided by the Central Propaganda Department and organized by the China Printing Technology Association, delivering a keynote on European market trends. Shanghai Realscheme Business Management Consulting, in collaboration with Shanghai Publishing and Printing College and the European Gutenberg Association, reached a tripartite cooperation agreement on multiple projects. The Polish national delegation received a thank-you letter from the Full Printing Expo, and Polish and German printing and packaging companies signed procurement and agency agreements with equipment suppliers.
The Shanghai Procurement Summit was a great success, and all parties agreed that the 2024 China-Europe International Supply Chain Procurement Conference would be held in June 2024 during the Drupa exhibition in Düsseldorf, Germany.
