Printing Forum - Summary of Lean Quality Management

       On the 13th, the Huasheng Paper Industry Grand Forum invited senior printing and packaging industry expert, Mr. Zhou Xiaoqing, to deliver a course on "Lean Quality Management." Over 50 participants from more than 10 companies in the industry attended the course.




Quality costs involve every aspect, process, and department of a printing company. If a company’s quality management and control levels are subpar, it will directly affect product quality costs and production efficiency. It will also lead to frequent customer complaints and returns, causing management to spend their time reworking, remanufacturing, and handling customer complaints, falling into a vicious cycle of reactive firefighting. Additionally, the company faces risks such as customer fines, reduced orders, and even the loss of customers. To address these painful issues, Mr. Zhou shared a series of effective solutions with the attendees, helping companies analyze and identify shortcomings in the product realization process. He guided companies on how to establish mechanisms for preventing, quickly addressing, and making breakthrough improvements to quality issues, ultimately helping businesses achieve the goal of “reducing quality costs and enhancing customer satisfaction.”

Ms. Zhou delivered a comprehensive and systematic lecture on various topics, including the concepts and strategic significance of quality and quality management; the construction of quality goals, metrics, and data management systems; the design and reengineering of business and management processes; the prevention, handling, and breakthrough improvements of quality issues; the standardization and continuous improvement of quality management systems; and quality management performance evaluation and visual management.

Before concluding the session, a live Q&A was held, where Ms. Zhou answered the different questions from the participating companies in great detail. The attendees found the session very valuable and expressed a desire for more such courses, hoping they could continue to learn and improve together.

Both Ms. Zhou and Huasheng Paper hope that through hosting such events, printing companies will realize the importance of quality management and technological innovation in shaping a company’s brand and improving management performance and profits. They also look forward to the opportunity to dive deeper into businesses and further guide their practical management improvement, ultimately helping companies establish and implement a comprehensive and effective quality management system.
